Mentoring Opportunity with Derek Provan

Derek Provan

MentorDerek Provan is the Operations Director for BAA Glasgow Airport and a Director with the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce.

Here is a video (click to watch on YouTube) of Derek – explaining how he can help you and your business via the group mentoring programme.

The mentoring group sessions with Derek will cover several areas in total (approx 4), 1 per session. The first session will be:

Risk Management

Followed by:

Managing Compliance (HSE etc)

Customer Experience Management

Running efficient business processes (Lean, 6 Sigma)

These sessions are delivered under the Business Mentoring Programme – a partnership between Scottish Chambers and Scottish Enterprise. European funding allows us to offer these sessions to you at no charge, provided you meet the eligibility criteria, which are:

Turnover of at least £100K, with the plan and ambition to grow

Been in business for at least 1 year

Not currently involved in the mentoring programme / nor have been in the last 12 mths

One person per company – does not need to be the owner – but should be a key decision maker / responsible person

The first session will be taken by Gillies Crichton on 8th July 8.30-10am in the Chamber Business Centre – breakfast rolls, tea and coffee will be provided. You can park in the Chamber car park for free – situated directly opposite the Holiday Inn Express (press control button and say you have a meeting at the Chamber).
