The SFBA is delighted to bring you details of our new HR workshop, Employee Lifecycle (The Complete HR Overview). This workshop will look at everything you need to know across all stages in the employee lifecycle, whether it’s a family or non family member. We will cover pre-recruitment and recruitment; contracts of employment; legalities; training and development of staff members; termination of employment either through forced or natural methods.

Our expert speakers are Sue Beatt and Jo Graham of People Solutions who have a wealth of professional experience in dealing with all aspects of HR, recruitment and training. Their experience has been gained across a wide spectrum of industries, and covers companies of all sizes including the national Lloyds Pharmacy group to smaller, community based family businesses. We will also hear about successful family businesses who have implemented strong recruitment and progression policies and are now being run by subsequent generations.

As many of you will know, this is a great opportunity to network with other family businesses over a buffet breakfast and tea / coffee.
