HSE Approved First Aid at Work (3 days / 18 hrs)

This course provides the recommended training necessary to administer first aid
within the workplace. Students will learn how to assess and manage a diverse
range of scenarios, from resuscitation to work place hazards. On successful
completion of an assessment, the student will be awarded a Health & Safety
Executive Approved First Aid at Work Certificate of competence, which is valid
for 3 years. This 3 day course can be carried out over consecutive days, on a day
release basis or can be split over several open courses, as long as training is
completed within a 10 week period.

HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day / 6 hrs)

This 1 day course is designed for low risk work places where the first aid needs
assessment indicates that this level of training is adequate. Delegates will be
taught life saving skills and how to act calmly and effectively in an emergency
situation. Course delegates undergo continuous assessment by the trainer to
ensure that they achieve all learning outcomes. An HSE Approved Emergency
First Aid at Work Certificate of Competence will be awarded on successful
completion of this course, certificates are valid for 3 years.

HSE Approved First Aid Requalification Course

(2 day refresher / 12 hrs)
This course provides renewal of the First Aid at Work Certificate. The certificate
being renewed must be valid up to its 3 year expiry date, which should be shown
on the certificate, plus a maximum of 28 days from this date (extension period).
On successful completion of an assessment, a Health & Safety Executive
Approved First Aid at Work Certificate of competence will be awarded.
