Renfrewshire businesses kick start the summer!
Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce would like to extend it’s thanks to the many companies that participated in the first 5-a-side Chamber Challenge.
Hosted by 5 on Five, Paisley, the sell out event attracted 14 teams from various sectors of Renfrewshire’s elite business community including Campbell Dallas, Colliers CRE, Solution M, Kibble, the Wise Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Braehead, Caledonion Ferguson Timpson, Dormy Custom Products and Visit Scotland.
The tournament provided an opportunity for those involved to network with other chamber members whilst enjoying some light hearted foot balling fun!
The semi finals saw Diageo battle against Colliers CRE to secure their place in the final whilst it become a close call for table toppers EPM Solutions and BAA Glasgow with BAA Glasgow securing their place after a 5-4 victory.
Despite soaring temperatures the finalists Diageo and BAA Glasgow were able to showcase their talents however a 3-1 win for Diageo saw them secure overall winners of the tournament.
Presentations were made to the winning team and runners up by 5 on five manager Duncan Williams before the teams retired in the sunshine to enjoy a BBQ and light refreshments.
Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce prides itself on the standard and variety of events offered to both members and non-members throughout the year. Social events such as this provide great opportunities to forge business relationships in a fun way. This year also see’s the return of the Chamber Golf Challenge which will take place at Erskine Golf Club on 24th August.
