Renfrewshire Chamber is delighted to announce that Marie Dorris of Scottish Enterprise will be speaking at our first Ladies Networking Lunch of 2008.
Marie Dorris is the Head of the National Unit for Women’s Enterprise (NUWE) based at Scottish Enterprise. The national unit is a partnership between Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
Within Scottish Enterprise, she is responsible for policy, advocacy and strategic and operational development for women’s enterprise.
She is responsible for the development of services and initiatives to increase the start-up levels of women-led businesses and to help encourage business sustainability and growth.
Marie also manages a number of mainstream business support programmes and activities.
Marie has an honours degree in Marketing and Spanish from Strathclyde University and a Masters Degree in Enterprise from Napier University.
