Paisley Mod

Mod, Paisley October 2013

Wednesday 1st May 2013

Island News & Advertiser is a free monthly newspaper based in the Outer Hebrides. It has a circulation of 10,000, with a penetration rate of 1 in 3 of the local population. It is also distributed to parts of the Inner Hebrides, and parts of Oban, Glasgow and Inverness.

The paper fills a gap in local news coverage and is designed to a very high standard, making it very popular and respected in our community.

Paisley Mod will be doing a four page pull out Mod special in our October issue (pub Oct 1st) and are looking for Chamber membes who would be interested in advertising in it.

They have a variety of rates and packages on offer, including five month packages starting in their next edition in June to enable businesses to get long exposure as islanders make their plans for the event.

Paisley Mod plan to distribute an extra 1,000 papers at the Mod itself.

Your members can see the back catalogue of the paper at

The Island News and Advertiser website is

Susy Macauly (Managing Editor at Island News and Advertiser) will be visiting Paisley on Wednesday May 29 and Thursday May 30 and would be delighted to drop in on any businesses which might want to discuss this further. She would also be pleased to send out back copies to any businesses wishing to see the paper in its printed form.

Susy invites any businesses wishing to consider their five month package starting in June to get in touch by emailing as their deadline for this is mid-May.
