Healthy Working Lives

Scottish Family Business Association

On the 22nd February  the Scottish Family Business Association are hosting an event, in Paisley, aimed at family businesses who are based in town centres or on the high street.

We are working with the Scottish Centre for Regeneration’s Town Centres and Local High Streets Learning Network, which is a cross-Government initiative that supports people and organisations to improve Scottish town centres and high streets.  As you will be aware, Scottish family businesses form the bedrock of town centres and high streets and our Inverness event is part of a series that we are organising to help family businesses get the support they require to flourish.

The network gives practical help to organisations and individuals involved in decision-making and providing front-line services. The event promises to: -

Look at the advantages of being a family business based on the high street / town centre and how to effectively communicate it to the local community;

Identify strengths and problems that is currently being facing & suggest support measures to the Town Centres and Local High Streets Learning Network;

Share and collect information and ideas;

Establish a strong network of multi sector support.

The event will take place from 09.30 – 11.30 on 22nd February, 10 at the Renfrewshire Chambers Glasgow, a buffet breakfast will be served on arrival.
