11.00am to 2.00pm
Last year, Renfrewshire Council spent £231 million on works, goods and services, 51% of which was supplied by small and medium sized businesses. In the current economic climate this presents considerable opportunities for local businesses looking to expand their markets.
In conjunction with Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce, the Council will be hosting an event to promote the opportunities available, provide an update on new developments within public procurement and outline the procedures involved in selling to Renfrewshire Council. Following a presentation from Julie Welsh, the Council’s Head of Strategic Procurement, there will also be the opportunity for businesses to meet face to face with key Council buyers.
We are expecting demand for this event to be very high therefore we shall be running the same event twice - on Friday 26 March and Monday 29 March. Places may need be limited to a maximum of two people per business and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Priority will be given to businesses within the Renfrewshire Council area.
