“It is difficult to accept death and dying
in this society because it is unfamiliar.
In spite of the fact that it happens
all the time………”
Elizabeth Kubler Ross
Everyday someone is diagnosed with an illness that has no cure. Every day someone dies leaving
those left to grieve. Yet as a community we do not share our thoughts, feelings or how there is a huge struggle to readjust to a different world.
This day will provide a platform to explore what is perceived as a “difficult subject”. Is it difficult or do we make it difficult?
Do you lead an organisation that deals with people who will experience these life challenges?
Are you a manager who would like to understand end of life care issues?
Do you find it difficult to have these conversations both professionally and personally?
Would having more knowledge support you deal with this life situation?
As part of ACCORDs ongoing care for our community we invite you to this day on, Tuesday 8th October 9.00- 4.30. It will be held in Abercorn Conference Centre, exploring how we can change and become more caring in each of our communities, organisations, work and family groups.
The cost for this seminar will be £40.00 and can be booked by following the link
