You are invited to join me at my 80s themed Quiz and Party night being held on Friday, 20th September 2019, at the Normandy Hotel, Renfrew in aid of my chosen charity which this year is St Vincent’s Hospice.
What’s the dress code? I hear you ask, well it’s ‘acceptable in the 80s’ basically anything goes, so dust off your shoulder pads and your eyeliner (and that’s just the men) with tickets at an exceptionally reasonably priced £35. If you have trouble ‘Making Your Mind Up’ this throw back quiz and party night begins with a pre-dinner drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner, don’t worry it won’t be a ‘hot dog’ or a ‘jumping frog’.
‘Sweet dreams are made of these’ as we’ve also negotiated special bed and breakfast room rates for those who are thinking ‘should I stay or should I go now’. If you would like to take advantage of this, simply contact the hotel directly on 0141 886 4100 mentioning that you are a guest at the Provost’s 80s Party.
‘I wanna dance with somebody’ and ‘I just can’t get enough’ of helping St Vincent’s, a local charity that gives so much practical and emotional support to so many people and families who have loved ones suffering from life limiting conditions. This is why I’m really hoping you can attend and perhaps you would consider donating a prize for our silent auction, if you can help in this way we would be delighted to hear from you.
If you can’t make it along on the night, that’s a shame, in fact ‘It’s a sin’ but perhaps you would still like to support St Vincent’s Hospice? Don’t worry you could still consider donating a prize or experience for our auction, or perhaps purchase something from the enclosed wish list that St Vincent’s have compiled. Anything you can give, even by way of a donation towards an item on the shopping list, is exceptionally important and very much appreciated, so ‘call me’ or Donna or Heather on the numbers above to discuss, you can of course email too.
I cannot wait for this fantastic night, and if you’re ‘like a virgin’ to these themed nights don’t worry, you can ‘take on me’ as I’ll be dressed up too.
I really hope you can come and support this wonderful charity ‘all night long’ and
I hope to see you there, you may even end up ‘dancing on the ceiling’
