Members Event Program with Campbell Dallas
The Govt has prepared daft legislation, expected to come into force from 1st October 2019 to tackle an estimated £100m tax loss in missing trader fraud. This will mean sub-contractors in the supply chain will no longer be required to charge, collect and declare VAT. For sub-contractors this could mean simplified VAT accounting, but a reduced cash flow in their business of up to 20%. For larger firms there may be cash flow benefits, but increased accounting responsibilities. This seminar will provide you with the information you need, outline the practicalities of the new VAT accounting procedures, and give you the opportunity to ask questions with Greg McNally, VAT Partner and specialist in land, property and construction sectors at Campbell Dallas.
