Learning Platforms Combine to Create New Player in Learning Technology Market

Learning Management System and online training solutions provider joins forces with digital learning technology and solutions specialist

Bolt Learning, Scottish leader in the corporate online learning and training sector, has joined forces with Sponge UK Limited (‘Sponge’), a custom digital learning solutions specialist. The businesses have been brought together by Aliter Capital, the specialist UK support services investor, to create a major new force in the learning technology market.

Bolt Learning, acquired by Aliter in June 2019, has expanded rapidly with Aliter’s guidance and extensive network and have continued to win new clients through the development of their sophisticated Learning Management System (LMS) and a range of advanced content development tools.

Sponge designs and develops bespoke digital learning solutions, including eLearning, learning games, motion graphics, interactive video and immersive technologies (such as VR and AR) and blended learning solutions. Sponge works with some of the world’s largest brands and its solutions are used in more than 124 countries worldwide, with capability to translate into more than 200 languages.
