What’s happening?

St Vincent’s Hospice is running a new sporting event for all the footballers out there! Our 5 A-SIDE Charity Tournament will take place on Sunday 3^rd June and Five on 5 Ltd at Pro Life Fitness Centre in Paisley will be playing host for this fantastic new event.

By taking part you will take part in knock out games for qualifiers with the chance to win the St Vincent’s Hospice 5’s Trophy! A buffet will be provided for all players and you will have full use of the changing rooms, lockers and showers.

So whether you play for a football team or just fancy getting some friends together to have a bit of fun while raising money for charity – this could be just the event for you.

Who can take part?

Anyone can take part in the tournament, men, women all are welcome. Teams should have no more than 8 registered players for the day, all of whom must be named on the Team Registration form. Any players under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian to take part.

How do I book a place for my team?

Entry is simple, just complete the Team Entry Form and return to Ashley Moran, Fundraising Team, St Vincent’s Hospice, Midton Road, Howwood, PA9 1AF, along with your entry fee. The entry fee is £75 per team. Once your place is booked your will receive a confirmation letter and more details on the event.

Sponsorship?

There is the option of raising more money for St Vincent’s Hospice through sponsorship. So if you fancy a bit more of a challenge for the event why not get you friends and family to sponsor your team! This is completely optional and if you would like to do this please let us know and we can arrange the sponsor forms for your team.

Who benefits?

All the money raised will be used to help continue our services to our patients and their families in the communities of Renfrewshire. It will help us to continue to provide the highest standard of patient centred care while ensuring choice, dignity and an enhanced quality of life. As well as helping to provide services in the hospice building, it means we can continue to deliver services on an outreach basis directly to our patients in the community.
