Renfrewshire Chamber's Got The Right Stuff...

Street StuffWednesday 25th January

Renfrewshire Chamber recently presented Street Stuff with a cheque for £2,500, its share of funds raised at the Chambers annual business awards, the ROCCOs. The donation will go towards a special celebration event for regular users of the award winning Street Stuff programme.

Street Stuff is a mobile partnership service that provides a range of youth activities across Renfrewshire, including street football, youth gym and dance workshops

Renfrewshire Chamber, finalist in the UK Chamber of the Year 2011, has raised £25,000 over the last 2 years for Renfrewshire charities and good causes.

Commenting on the donation Chamber president Tom Johnston said, “we do our best to support young people across Renfrewshire, not just with donations but also our time. For example all 63 schools are members of the Chamber and we are working on various employer related initiatives. Plus the Chamber is an integral part of Young Enterprise Renfrewshire – helping raise funds and recruit business advisors for teams participating in the Company Programme.”
