pacePanto Time Already? Oh Yes it (nearly) is!

Tuesday 16th November 2011

PACE’s annual panto is now almost as synonymous with Christmas as Brussels sprouts and falling asleep in front of the bond movie,  so following on from the huge success of last year’s “Aladdin”, PACE Theatre Company are delighted to announce that this year’s production will be the magical tale of ‘Snowhite’.

The show is an hilarious adaptation by David Wallace  and, as tradition states, David will of course be donning Paisley’s favourite bloomers as the irrevocable Dame.  Also pacestarring this year will be the inimitable Alan Orr who also provides the original score for the show.

David Wallace said “Panto is for all the family and I write the show with this in mind. I think the public who come to our shows know that they and their kids will have a brilliant time. It’s the one time of the year when the whole family can go to the theatre together and just enjoy themselves.”

Snowhite, with set design by the renowned designer Robin Peoples -who recently designed the sets for “The Singing Kettle’s” national tour- and an all-singing all-dancing chorus of PACE members, is sure to be a treat for all the family. The show runs from November 25th until December 31st at the Paisley Arts Centre.  Tickets are available from the Arts Centre box office or by calling 0141 887 1010.
