Scotland’s leading business organisation welcomes the conclusion of the leadership election race.  Liz Cameron, Chief Executive of SCC Limited commented:

“The Conservative Party in Scotland has a strong track record of speaking out against policies in the Parliament which would have been detrimental to businesses operating in Scotland.  We need strong political leadership from all the political parties therefore welcome the conclusion of their elections removing uncertainty and enabling them to move forward driving positive change for the Scottish economy. 

It is very interesting times in the Scottish Parliament and we offer our sincere congratulations to Ruth Davidson in  winning the confidence and vote to lead the party .   We very much  look forward to working with her in the future.
