Xscape Braehead tops poll of Scottish Entertainment Complexes

Xscape Braehead has been voted Scotland’s Entertainment Complex of the Year in the first ever Scottish Entertainment Guide Awards.

Xscape beat of stiff competition from entertainment centres in Glasgow and Edinburgh to take the top title in the Entertainment Centre category. The Entertainment Guide Awards are based on nominations and votes from members of the public and site visits by a panel of industry experts.

Ian Anderson Centre Manager at Xscape Braehead said,

‘Xscape has been lucky enough to pick up a few awards since we opened 6 years ago. But this Award has a special value for us because it is based on the support of our customers.  Accolades from experts are fantastic to have, but it’s the opinions of our customers that matter the most. We place great emphasis on the visitor experience at Xscape and we’re delighted that the public have responded so positively to what we’re doing. The fact that we were nominated for this Award by our visitors and it was their votes that got us to the final is very pleasing indeed.

We would also just like to thank all 35 businesses within Xscape, as the majority of the credit must go to them  for the fantastic experience they give our visitors from the moment they walk through our front door to the time they leave.”
