Member News 12th April 2017
RAMH exists to provide support to individuals who have experience of mental ill health.
Our vision is to deliver services to individuals and their families in their local community, to enable recovery from mental ill health and promote well being.
We provide a range of support services, primarily across Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, North and South Ayrshire.
We support around 4,000 individuals each year through a range of mental health and wellbeing initiatives. We employ around 100 WTE staff and operate an annual budget of approximately £3.5m.
We wish to augment the current skills mix of our Board, by attracting an individual with experience in Finance and Accountancy, in the Public, Charitable or Private sector. The individual would offer guidance and advice on the Financial Governance of the Charity to the Board and Operational management team. The anticipated time commitment is around 2-4 hours per month.
You would be regarded as a Charity Trustee, within the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
