Guidelines and Application Process

Applications are invited from businesses in the Renfrewshire area and all valid Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce Members.

You can either nominate a third party or make a self nomination

It is Free to enter

Applications must be submitted on the designated application form for each category and should be typed. Hand written applications will not be accepted.

You can apply for more than one category if applicable however you must submit an individual application form for each category.

Judges reserve the right to move an entry to a different category if they judge it is more appropriate.

Judges reserve the right to request additional material to support claims made in any nominations.

Members of the judging panel will be appointed by the ROCCO Award organisers and will consist of Chamber Board Members, Award Sponsors and independent experts. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Chamber reserves the right to not award in any category if no satisfactory nominations are received.

Applications will be treated in the strictest confidence and circulated only to members of the judging panel.

Completed Application Forms should be submitted by 11th September 2009.

The Shortlist Companies will be asked to make a brief presentation to the Judges. These will take place between 26th -30th October 2009.

Finalists and winners are expected to take part in media interviews and photo shoots to promote the ROCCO Business Awards 2009.

The Chamber reserves the right to not make an award in any category if no satisfactory nominations are received.

The winners of each category will be announced at the ROCCO Awards Dinner on Friday 20h November 2009 in the Normandy Hotel, Renfrew.

Entry to the ROCCO Awards implies acceptance of these rules and conditions.
