Renfrewshire's economy is booming with a wealth of ambitious, successful entrepreneurs and organisations in the area who have the drive and determination to make Renfrewshire a great place to be in business.

Many of these great businesses were recognised for their success at the fourth Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce ROCCO Business Awards held on Friday 9th November at a packed Normandy Cosmopolitan Hotel in Renfrew. This was once again hosted by Fred MacAulay in his own inimitable style.

Fred introduced the stories behind all the short-listed and winning businesses. From manufacturing to transport, from service sector to the professional services sector, from engineering to distribution, and in the important environmental area, the very best of entrepreneurial flair and drive was in ample evidence on the night.

The ROCCO Awards once again demonstrated the progress and changes that have taken place in Renfrewshire over the last twenty years. It is now a diverse economy home to many world class businesses succeeding in competitive global markets.
