Chamber News 9th January 2018
West College Scotland has recently launched the first West of Scotland Skills Survey. To help build a modern workforce and sustain a thriving regional economy, the College wants to hear from employers of all sizes. Running until March, the West of Scotland Skills Survey will seek the views and experiences of employers in the West region – focusing on their skills, training and business support needs. The findings of this sector-leading research will then be used to better inform the College’s work, shaping their future curriculum and employer engagement. Employers who participate in the skills survey will also be given the opportunity to enter a prize draw for free use of services at the College – with a 3 course meal for 10 people, use of our conferencing facilities and £1,000 worth of training on offer. You can complete the survey at www.westcollegescotland.ac.uk/skills-survey
As Scotland’s largest college and a mainstay of the West of Scotland, we are committed to working with partners and employers across our region to build a modern workforce and sustain a thriving economy.
In the four years since our formation, we have built strong relationships with employers and have assisted them in their workforce planning – helping them become more competitive by having the right people, with the right skills, in the right jobs.
Looking to the future, we are determined that West College Scotland consolidate this success and continue to support organisations in all sectors and industries across our region as effectively as we possibly can.
If you’re an employer in the West of Scotland – no matter how big or small – you can help build a modern workforce by completing West College Scotland’s Skills Survey. westcollegescotland.ac.uk/skills-survey. #WestScotSkillsAs
