Allstaff’s Employee Ownership Learning Journey

As we approach our first anniversary as an employee-owned recruitment agency, we wanted to network with organisations who had taken similar steps!
This year’s Employee Ownership Learning Journey was hosted by Co-Operative Development Scotland. The 2 day event gave numerous employee-owned companies from a variety of sectors the chance to share their experiences including; guitar guitar, Chemco, Stewart-Buchanan Gauges, Clansman Dynamics and Galloway & Macleod.
Allstaff was delighted to be involved with our Managing Director, Carolyn, speaking about our EO journey. Carolyn explained how the sale to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) provided the perfect succession solution. Every member of our close-knit team is essential to the success of our recruitment agency based in Glasgow and Paisley.
The EOT ensures that every employee has a stake in that success. Carolyn reported that our clients had reacted very favourably to the news. We’ve already seen many examples of staff members taking more ownership within the business which is wonderful for our future success.
