Dargavel Primary World of Work Week – Support Request

As part of developing our pupils’ skills as enterprising individuals, Dargavel Primary School are seeking visits from local businesses to inspire our pupils. Our World of Work week aims to:
*Provide information about different careers
*Raise children’s awareness of the necessary skills for life, learning and work
*Give our pupils the opportunity to ask questions
*Encourage pupils to consider their future aspirations
*Knowledge of what an employer values
We want to provide our pupils with the opportunity to talk to people from all jobs and professions so that they can find out more about the possibilities on offer. If you would be willing to come along to share information about your job during the week beginning Monday 10th October to Friday 14th October 2022, it would be very much appreciated. The talk would involve a description of your role (approx 25/30 minutes) to an audience of between 15 to 30 pupils. On the Friday afternoon, pupils participate in “Work Cluedo” where they get to interview and question a range of guests in order to guess their occupation.
