The Scottish Chambers of Commerce quarterly business survey is among the most well regarded and respected trackers of business confidence and performance in the Scottish economy.

Our last survey showed that the beginning of 2023 provided welcome respite for some sectors of the economy more so than others, after a difficult end to 2022.

The survey also indicated that many businesses are still struggling in the face of rising cost pressures and high inflation, as well as continuing to face challenges regarding access to the labour market.
