Azets strengthens Scottish partner team with six promotions

Four audit specialists and two wealth management leaders have been promoted to Partner as a UK Top 10 accountancy and business advisory firm continues to invest in its expertise in Scotland.

The strengthening of the Partner team at Azets is designed to provide greater access to senior advisers at a time when businesses and their owners are facing an increasingly complex audit, regulatory and financial reporting environment coupled with a growing need for joined-up input around growth, succession, tax, investment and long-term financial planning.

Three of the new audit Partners – Victoria Walker, David Samborek and Michael Walker – are based in Glasgow while colleague Jennifer Spence works from Edinburgh.

All four are chartered accountants and statutory auditors with the distinction of having trained with firms that became Azets on their progression to Partner, so bringing extensive experience and long-standing client relationships to their new roles.

In the wealth management team, both Graeme Dreghorn in Glasgow and Will Bleasdale in Edinburgh have likewise gained promotion to Partner.

Graeme has more than 20 years’ experience in financial planning and cashflow modelling while Will has spent more than a decade working at senior levels in strategic wealth management. Both are chartered financial planners.
