New corporate partnership will connect Scotland’s business leaders with trusted legal expertise and support entrepreneurial growth.

BTO Solicitors LLP has become a corporate partner of Entrepreneurial Scotland and its exclusive legal partner, strengthening both organisations’ commitment to supporting ambitious leaders and helping Scottish businesses grow.

The partnership will bring BTO closer to Entrepreneurial Scotland’s community of founders, chief executives and senior business leaders, including members of The Exchange, its peer-support programme for ambitious leaders. BTO will contribute legal insight and practical expertise to the community, while helping to create opportunities for meaningful connections, shared learning and collaboration.

Sean McGrath, CEO of Entrepreneurial Scotland, commented:

“BTO brings extensive legal and commercial expertise, a strong commitment to Scotland’s business community and a collaborative approach that fits closely with our values. We are delighted to welcome the firm as our exclusive legal partner and look forward to working together to support the leaders who will drive Scotland’s future expansion.”

Entrepreneurial Scotland helps entrepreneurially minded leaders build the belief, mindset and connections they need to accelerate their development and Scotland’s growth. Its programmes include The Exchange, which provides founders, chief executives and senior leaders with a trusted peer environment in which to share experience, insight and knowledge.

Grant Hunter, BTO’s Managing Partner, said:

“Entrepreneurial Scotland shares our belief that ambition, strong relationships and practical support can unlock potential. This partnership gives us an opportunity to contribute to a community of leaders who are building businesses, creating jobs and strengthening Scotland’s economy.

“As Entrepreneurial Scotland’s exclusive legal partner, we will be a trusted and accessible source of advice for its members throughout the business journey. Just as importantly, we will listen, learn and help members make valuable connections that support their ambitions.”

Jen Paton, aCorporate Partner who will lead the partnership on behalf of BTO, added:

“Good advice starts with understanding the business, its owners and what they want to achieve. As businesses grow and scale, BTO can support them through the opportunities and challenges that arise, whether that involves raising investment, making an acquisition, strengthening key contracts or managing wider legal risks.

“I am looking forward to working closely with Entrepreneurial Scotland and its members to build lasting relationships, share our expertise and help ambitious businesses move forward.”

Through this partnership, BTO will put its values – positive, supportive, brave and insightful – into practice by helping Entrepreneurial Scotland’s members build connections, navigate opportunities and achieve their aspirations.
