With a multi-million-pound renovation underway, Align Partners, on behalf of Dutco, continues the repositioning of Mar Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort into a luxury five-star Scottish destination with the appointment of a new Head Concierge and investment in its meetings and events offering.

New Head Concierge, Alan McDougall, is Chairman of the Society of The Golden Keys of Great Britain & The Commonwealth and brings his renowned passion for meeting and exceeding guests’ expectations to Mar Hall.

With an enviable black book of contacts built up over 30 years in the industry, no request is too big or too small for Alan to accommodate. From a family-friendly falconry session on the lawn to an off-road 4×4 adventure tour of the Old-Kilpatrick hills or corporate teambuilding challenges, Alan can curate an itinerary to suit every need.

The flexible meeting rooms, ranging from the intimate Clyde or Garden Suites to the more spacious Burgandy Suite, all feature elegant décor, modern audio and visual equipment and magnificent views of the natural landscape. In addition, Mar Hall has invested in a new ultra-fast WiFi network, providing connectivity for seamless business events and individual guest needs.

For larger celebrations, Morton House provides ample space for 170 guests, while the marquee with its spectacular views over the Earl of Mar Scottish championship golf course, River Clyde and rolling Old-Kilpatrick hills caters for up to 300 guests. Renovation works are currently underway to transform the marquee event space and bring a new banqueting kitchen.

A new dedicated wedding and events team will be led by Commercial Manager, Fiona Gallagher, who has recently been promoted. She will ensure all enquiries are handled professionally, promptly, and seamlessly to guarantee guests and organisers achieve their event objectives.
