Team Work Makes the Dream Work

Chamber members Branding Boutique and Pacitti Hamilton, have worked together for a number of years. With headquarters in Renfrewshire and working throughout the West of Scotland and beyond, supporting good causes and their local communities is not new for either company, having recently sponsored a category each at the Renfrewshire Inspirational Awards.

When the opportunity arose to support the BSC Rec Ladies Football Team, the two women-led businesses came together as co-sponsors, ensuring that the women’s team now have full new strips for both home and away fixtures.

While Broomhill Sports Club was established as a charity in 2004, the women’s Recreational Football Team were set up in 2022 with the ethos that anyone can come along and play, and an inclusive selection process for competitive games where players are chosen at random – ensuring that everyone feels valued as part of the team.

Maylynda Pacitti of Chartered Accountants Pacitti Hamilton, the current title holders of Renfrewshire’s Most Promising New Business as the 2022 ROCCO Awards, said:

“I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside some amazing women in our business, celebrating our success together with my co-director Heather Hamilton. I took part in a recent BSC Rec training session and it highlighted the impact that the camaraderie of a team and physical activity can have on a personal level, too. The team continue to grow and with the rise in popularity of women’s football I hope this trend continues!
